A new day.
It's a new day for me. The song sums up every emotion and gets me hype (sorry for the curse words!). I have always wanted to learn how to box, so this in my new goal. Since having Brendan, I gained all the weight back that I had lost. I was trying to lose it again, but kept failing. I have a bunch of excuses (yes, excuses.) like being a single mom of 2 kids, finishing grad school and working a full-time internship. Now, it's the summer and none of that is holding me back. I also met a friend that is a trainer and MMA fighter. He is going to help me to lose the weight first then teach me how to box. I can NOT explain how excited I am about this. My weight loss goal is 75lbs. this time and I'd like to do it by December. I'm going to try and focus more on clean eating too (any advice/tips on this would be greatly appreciated). I really need to make this a lifestyle change. The difference with this time around is that I KNOW I can do it because I've done it before.
I'll start with the trainer the first week of July and will post monthly pictures of my progress. I'd like to continue to post weigh-ins weekly too.
I've always been a fighter. I always fight for the things that I want in life or through struggles that have come my way...now it's time to show it. #findingafighter
